In 1990, Sweet Lew's was opened based on good, old fashioned principles of American hospitality: good food, good service, good prices. We created a down home, cozy atmosphere in which we developed our friendly and attentive staff. We use the best quality products to create a homemade menu of fresh, delicious meals.
Sweet Lew's is well known for its great breakfast, homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and our daily Blackboard Specials. Through the years, Sweet Lew's has also become known for its staff. Our hostess, wait, cook, bus and dish staff are dedicated, hard working, friendly and fun people who keep us operating at our best.

About the Owner
Keith Lew, owner of Sweet Lew's Cafe since the beginning started the restaurant based on a few basic principles: good food, clean place, great service and value for your money. Keith has a degree in Restaurant Management and has been in the business for 24 years now. He opened Sweet Lew's back in 1990 and in November of 1995, Sweet Lew's made its mark. Ever since it has been a steady growth pattern.
Sweet Lew's and Keith are very community focused and partake in a variety of community activities and events. Such as, they are a Downtown Freehold sponsor for fireworks and concerts, Little League baseball for Freehold, Howell, and the Manalapan area, YMCA basketball, and even Breakfast with Santa. Community is important to Keith because it goes back to the people who support you. Keith also believes in the little things too. You have to pay attention to the details and the little things because that's what the big things are built upon. Quality makes success.
